Welcome Dawn Boyd to C3 Staff
Dear Crestview Community Church Family,
We are delighted to introduce Dawn Boyd as our new Connections & Care Coordinator. Dawn brings a wealth of experience, a heart for service, and a deep love for our church and community. We are excited for you to get to know her and experience the innovative leadership she will bring to her new role.
Dawn has lived in our area for most of her life and holds a bachelor’s degree in Organizational Leadership and Supervision from Purdue University. With 20 years of experience at Purdue in IT, Special Events, and Alumni Relations, she has also served with organizations such as the Community Cancer Network, American Red Cross, Food Finders Food Bank, Habitat for Humanity, Trinity Life Ministry, and Combat Cookies. Her extensive background reflects her passion for connecting with others and making a difference.
Dawn and her husband, Kevin, both McCutcheon High School graduates, were married in 2015 and have been active members of C3 since 2023. Together, they have a wonderful family of five children and four grandchildren, along with their beloved rescue dogs. They enjoy traveling, reading, spending time with family, and embracing life’s adventures.
In her role at Crestview Church, Dawn will help guide visitors from their first visit to full membership, assisting C3 members and attenders in taking steps toward connection and volunteering in ways that align with their interests. She will also focus on helping members find fulfilling opportunities to engage in small groups, classes, and ministry teams. Additionally, Dawn will oversee prayer requests and care responses, ensuring our church remains attentive to the needs of prayer, assistance, and care within our community. Her work will be inspired by her favorite verse, 1 John 3:18: “Let us not love in word or in talk but in deed and in truth.”
