Full Position Description:
Purpose:
The Connections and Care Coordinator helps first-time guests become fully connected participants and members of Crestview Community Church while also helping coordinate care efforts for those facing illness, hospitalization, or difficult life situations.
Accountability:
The Connections and Care Coordinator is overseen by the Associate Pastor.
Hours:
20 hours per week. Office hours are primarily Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Responsibilities Include:
• Guest follow-up and assimilation
• Coordinating newcomer and membership events
• Recruiting and scheduling greeters, ushers, and welcome center volunteers
• Helping organize church care ministry efforts
• Supporting outreach events such as Trunk or Treat/Fall Festival and Easter/Spring Family Events
• Participating in staff meetings and ministry planning

Job Description: Student Director (Full-Time)
About Crestview Community Church
Crestview Community Church (C3) is a non-denominational church in Lafayette, serving the community since 1958. Re-established in 2014 under Lead Pastor Thom Redmond, C3 is home to approximately 400 regular attenders.
C3 exists to provide the best opportunity possible to become fully developing followers of Jesus Christ. We believe our youth are not only the church of tomorrow but also a vital part of the church today. We’re seeking a full-time Student Director who will embrace Crestview’s vision to see students grow in faith, serve within the church, and reach our community for Christ.
Position Summary
The Student Director provides vision, leadership, and discipling for middle school and high school students. This role involves building and equipping a team of volunteers, fostering relationships with students, teaching God’s Word in engaging ways, facilitating worship experiences, and partnering with parents in the discipleship process.
Key Responsibilities
Ministry Duties
• Plan and lead weekly student gatherings (with preference for midweek) that balance worship, biblical teaching, small groups, and fellowship.
• Develop age-appropriate discipleship opportunities for middle school and high school students, with deeper study for high schoolers.
• Organize trips, retreats, and mission/service opportunities that help students grow in faith.
• Create a safe, welcoming environment for both churched and unchurched students.
Spiritual Discipling Duties
• Model a Christ-centered life of integrity, authenticity, and humility.
• Build relationships with students, meeting them where they are while pointing them toward spiritual maturity.
• Equip older students to step into leadership and accountability roles.
• Provide pastoral care to students and families as needed.
Volunteer & Parent Partnership Duties
• Recruit, train, and lead a team of adult volunteers to serve alongside students.
• Communicate regularly with parents about ministry plans, what students are learning, and how they can continue discipleship at home.
• Partner with parents as the primary spiritual leaders of their students.
• Encourage intergenerational relationships between students and the broader church family.
Worship & Teaching Duties
• Provide engaging biblical teaching that is practical and applicable in students’ lives.
• Lead or oversee student worship, with the goal of building and mentoring a student worship team.
Administration & Teamwork Duties
• Manage the youth ministry budget responsibly.
• Work collaboratively with church staff and Board of Elders.
• Participate in broader church life, encouraging students to engage in Sunday services and serve on volunteer teams.
• Manage and frequently post on Epic’s social media platforms.
Expected Office Hours
• Sunday (Morning): 8:30 am – 12:30 pm
Qualifications
Spiritual & Character
• A growing relationship with Jesus Christ, evidenced by humility, integrity, and authenticity.
• Biblically sound in theology and practice.
• Emotionally and relationally mature; able to walk alongside students with wisdom and compassion.
• A life that is a good role model for students.
Professional & Ministry
• Experience in student ministry, with a heart for both middle school and high school students.
• Ability to teach Scripture clearly and in a way that connects with students.
• Relatable and approachable, but not simply a “big kid.”
• Strong organizational and leadership skills; able to build and lead teams.
• Good communicator with students, parents, and church leadership.
Education & Experience
• A bachelor’s degree in student ministries or a related field is preferred.
• Candidates should have a minimum of three years of experience in student ministry.

Compensation
• Full-time salary, commensurate with experience and education.

- Additional time may be required for special events such as Newcomers Lunch, parent meetings, volunteer appreciation, etc.
• Sunday (Evening): 5:30 pm – 8:30 pm - Epic’s main student gathering currently meets during this time.
• Monday – Thursday: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
