Welcome to Crestview Preschool. Below you will find helpful information regarding our weekday preschool ministry. Please contact Sarah Arts at 765-474-2445 or email sarts@c3lafayette.org with any questions.
Crestview Preschool is an outreach ministry of Crestview Church. Our purpose is to provide your child with an atmosphere in which he/she can develop spiritually, socially, academically, physically and artistically. These five goals will be realized through a variety of activities. Your child will also learn to share and take turns, listen and follow directions, and to communicate with peers and adults. The curriculum is comprised of early math, early reading skills, large and fine motor development, art projects, music, Bible verses and stories, finger plays, field trips and social interaction.
Register for the 2024/25 school year
Early Registration: February 11-29 (click to expand)
o Early Registration is reserved for current preschool families and Crestview Church families.
o To take advantage of early registration, email Sarah Arts, Preschool Director for a link to an online registration form. You will also pay the $40 registration fee online.
Open House: March 1 (click to expand)
o Registration will be open to the public beginning at the Open House on March 1. At the Open House, you will be given a link to an online registration form. You will also pay the $40 registration fee online.
o Spots will be filled on a first come first serve basis. Your child’s spot for preschool will not be reserved until you have met with Mrs. Arts at the open house, filled out the online form, and paid the $40.
o The Preschool (child is 3 years by Aug 1) Open House is 6:00-7:00
o The Pre-Kindergarten (child is 4 years by Aug 1) Open House is 7:00-8:00
Post Open House Registration: begins March 4 (click to expand)
o We sometimes have preschool spots available after the Open House. To register after the Open House, email Sarah Arts, Preschool Director.
Preschool Staff
Meet the Director/Teacher Sarah Arts (click to expand)
Sarah Arts and her husband Nathan have 4 children; twin boys and 2 girls. She is a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church. Sarah has her degree from Purdue University in Elementary Education. She taught 1st grade for a short time and was the director of an afterschool program for 3 years. In 2014, Sarah started at Crestview Preschool.
Meet the Assistant Teacher Jessica Smeelink (click to expand)
Jessica Smeelink and her husband Shawn have 4 children; 2 boys and 2 girls. She is a member of Crestview Community Church. She has worked in child care for over 13 years. In 2021, Jessica started at Crestview Preschool.
